You are attempting to plot a variable that does not contain any data or only contains masked data in the column. Masked data always has a red frame so that it can be easily identified in the data window.
You are using a Template plot with fixed minimum limits but auto-scaled maximum limits. The value calculated for the maximum may be less than the value set for the minimum. Set the minimum to Auto and try using the Template plot again.
