Why do I get high error values for the parameters?

If the fit gives high error values for the parameters, it means that you could get a similar fit using a wide range of values for the parameters. This can happen if you haven’t collected enough data across a wide range of X values, if the formula is too complicated for your data, or if the formula has redundant parameters.
