After using a Template plot that has curve fits applied, the resulting plot has extra curve fit equations displayed on the plot. Why?
The problem occurs when the plot being used as the template has more variables plotted (and fitted) than in the new plot that is being generated.
There are two ways to get around it: 1) Use the Eraser tool to delete the unwanted equations from the new plot or 2) Prior to using the Template, remove the extra fits that won’t be needed for the new plot.
If you repeatedly use the same plot as a template, you could create several versions that only differ in the number of curve fits that they have applied and open the appropriate one as needed.
