How does KaleidaGraph handle X data columns formatted as Text?

If your X data is formatted as Text, these values will be treated as categories and not numeric values in Line, Scatter, Double Y, and other similar plots. The limits in the Axis Options dialog will represent the number of categories and not the actual values you are plotting. If these values should be treated as numbers, make sure the X data column is formatted as Float or Double.

Bar and Column plots will always treat the X data as categories.
