How do I create a Residual vs. Fitted plot?

Here are the steps to create a Residual vs Fitted plot:

1. After creating a plot and applying a curve fit, reselect the fit from the Curve Fit menu to display the Curve Fit Selections dialog.
2. Click the pop-up menu under the View column and choose Copy Predicted Values to Data Window. This will append a new data column to the data window named Fit Values.
3. Then choose Copy Residuals to Data Window from the same pop-up menu. This will append a new data column to the data window named Residuals.
4. You can then plot the Fit Values as X and the Residuals as Y using a Line or Scatter plot.
