Long-standing KaleidaGraph supporter praises the graphing and data analysis program on "Futures in Biotech" podcast

We use KaleidaGraph daily, and the curve fitting is so simple that we can test various models to better extract physiological parameters, etc. Curve fitting is very limited in Excel, and unlimited in KaleidaGraph.

Futures in Biotech (also known as FIB) is a show on the TWiT Network, a website which contains over 15 different shows, all covering some aspect of technology.

Hosted by Marc Pelletier, co-founder and VP-Chief Scientific Officer of Aeromics, LLC, FIB explores the rapidly changing world of biotech, with a focus towards getting a better understanding of who we are and where we are going. The living world will soon be a true substrate for engineering. Our world will change, and so will we. FIB brings a first hand account from the scientists that are moving us into this new technological era – the era of biotech.

FiB has featured such renowned scientists as Susan Lindquist, Leonard Guarente, Larry Smarr, George Church, Lee Hood, Michio Kaku, Nobel Laureates Eric Kandel (2000), Mario Capechhi (2007), Oliver Smithies (2007), and Marty Chalfie (2008), and even two moonwalkers, Buzz Aldrin (Apollo 11) and Senator Harrison Schmitt (Apollo 17).

In the past, KaleidaGraph has been featured on the FiB show in special advertising messages augmented with personal comments from Dr. Pelletier, a long-standing user and huge fan of KaleidaGraph.

Dr. Pelletier co-founded and is the current VP-Chief Scientific Officer of Aeromics, LLC, a biotechnology company that is developing molecules to treat cerebral edema, or brain swelling, which occurs after stroke, traumatic brain injury, meningitis, and giloma. He is also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
