The % error listed during each iteration is a normalized Chi Square value. It is calculated by taking the current Chi Square value and dividing it by the sum of the squared values of the function. This value is multiplied by 100 to obtain a percentage. This percentage is compared to the Allowable Error to see whether or not to continue iterating.
